About this template
A T-chart is the quickest way to compare two sides of anything. Write a heading on each side — Pros and Cons, Before and After, Facts and Opinions, Causes and Effects — then list points in the matching column. The topic line at the top keeps the question clear.
How to use it
- Write one point per line so the columns stay easy to compare.
- When a point on one side answers a point on the other, write them on the same line.
- Finish with a one-line decision or conclusion under the topic.

Frequently asked questions
What is a T-chart used for?
Comparing two things side by side: pros and cons, two characters, two options, before and after.
When should I use a Venn diagram instead?
When the overlap matters. A Venn diagram shows shared traits in the middle.
