About this template
Engineering paper (also called engineering computation paper) is the standard for technical homework: a light green background that is easy on the eyes, a fine grid for sketches and aligned calculations, and a header for your name, date and course. Engineering and physics students use it for problem sets, free-body diagrams and lab calculations.

Frequently asked questions
Why is engineering paper green?
The pale green tint reduces glare and makes pencil and pen work stand out. It's a long-standing convention in engineering schools.
Is the grid on both sides?
Traditional pads print the grid on the back so it shows faintly through; this printable version has the grid on the front, which works better for printing and on iPad.
